Somali Prime Minister Barre discusses regional developments with Qatari Defense Minister Al Thani

DOHA - Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre discussed regional developments with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Defense, Barre met with Al Thani in the capital Doha, where he is on an official visit.

The meeting addressed issues of common interest, ways to advance them, and regional developments.

A number of senior military and civilian officials from both countries attended the talks.
